A fun workshop to introduce you to the art of glass fusing and simple glass painting techniques. Learn about mixing and application of enamels to “paint” two kiln-fused 10cm square coasters with a quirky dotted appearance.

Do not be deterred – no drawing or painting skill is necessary as you apply coloured enamels in a simple dot-like fashion. The techniques learned will allow you to apply enamels in other kiln-fired glass projects. Unused enamels may be taken home to continue creative journey. Further examples will be shown for inspiration and which tutor will explain how made.

Numbers: Minimum 5, Maximum 8

Prerequisite: Suitable for beginners or those experienced in hot glass firing, who want to explore further the beauty of contemporary glass painting. Note: Workshop is not a replacement for beginners fusing and slumping course.
