Classes: Glass Bead Making – Beginners, Glass Bead Making: Decorative Techniques

 

Wendy McKean first discovered her love for Glass Bead making after taking a Beginner’s class back in 2015 at the Creative Glass Guild with experienced tutor, Vicki Beldan.

 

Wendy has always been drawn to the glass arts, dabbling in leadlight and mosaics, but once she stared melting glass there was no turning back.

 

She has experimented with many bead making techniques and is always looking at ways of using this knowledge to enhance her beads.

 

Wendy draws her inspiration from nature, whether it be the colours and textures from oceans, rainforests, animals and even insects. There’s always something in nature to inspire a new idea and she is keen to share her enthusiasm for bead making with others.
