Wild at Heart: Common Unity Mosaic Project

Why not join Catherine, Chris and other Mosaic Association of Australia and New Zealand (MAANZ) members to participate in an international community project facilitated by Tamara Froud, President of BAMM (British Association for Modern Mosaics)?

This project is about building community and also celebrating the natural world. Participants will create a mosaic roundel inspired by nature on several layers of mesh, which will then be collated at the MAANZ Symposium in November and adhered to a series of Stobie poles in South Australia.

Project comprises 3 sessions:

• Wednesday, 28 August 7.00 pm – Zoom call / Make Along presentation. (Details will be emailed separately)
• Sunday, 1 Sept 9.30am to 3pm – Mosaicing workshop led by Catherine.  (Members to bring a plate to share for lunch.)
• Sunday, 6 October 9:30am to 12:00pm – Grouting workshop led by Catherine

This is an inclusive project, encouraging anyone to participate – you don’t have to be a member of MAANZ! The $30 per entry to participate is being covered by the Guild.
