BMT4: Glass Bead Making – Kris Kringle

This tutorial covers learning new shapes and the application of surface decoration using stringers and rods to sculp various glass forms. Students will be taught the use of a tools and decorative techniques to make three Christmas themed beads. You will review basic torching skills before being taught to make beads of a decorated Xmas tree, a plum pudding and the head of Rudolf the reindeer.

Prerequisite: Suitable for students who have done some torching or completed a beginner’s course at the Creative Glass Guild or elsewhere of at least 12 hours duration.
