Tutor: Cheryl Hann-Woodlock
In this one-day workshop, create a beautiful hand-sculpted butterfly using Pal Tiya Premium. Pal Tiya makes sculptures that will last outdoors in all weather conditions, and which you will be able to mosaic using the beautiful medium of glass.
Cheryl will guide students with step-by-step instructions including how to make the base – to add water, mix, knead like dough, sculpt and smooth, decorate and the curing process. You will also learn how to add a sturdy hook to hang your mobile.
At the end of the day, you can take your sculpture home to cure to full strength, mosaic and then hang indoors, or out! Placed in your garden, Pal Tiya cures permanently stone hard. No firing or molds required.
Numbers: Minimum: 7 students. Maximum: 10
Prerequisite: No sculpting experience required. Suitable for beginners or more experienced sculptors who want to try this new material.
