Classes: Traditional Stained Glass Painting, Sandblasting, Etching and Carving

Warren Collins describes himself as a “traditionalist”. Whenever he designs a leadlight window, he always thinks of the relationship between the coloured glass, the lead and the paint. He is most interested in the traditional aspects of making a stained-glass window using coloured glass and lead as part of the process. He does not use a lot of enamels because he feels they are nowhere near as vibrant as glass itself.

Warren shares his love and expertise to guide his students in not only the basic techniques, but also encourages experimenting and trying different effects. As Warren says, “There are rules to follow but these rules can be broken”.
