Jenny Keys teaches beginners in the traditional arts of leadlighting and copperfoiling. She has been teaching at the Guild for over 12 years, and has made many beautiful leadlight panels, as well as a variety of table lamps, Christmas decorations and figurines using the copperfoil method.
Her knowledge of the glass crafts is extensive, having completed courses in stained glass, fusing & slumping and sand engraving amongst others.
But her passion is for leadlighting and copperfoiling, especially lamp-making, and she is happiest when she is passing on her many skills to a group of enthusiastic students. They in turn appreciate her zany sense of humour, which makes for an entertaining and interesting course!
