The Creative Glass Guild of Queensland was formed in 1979 to encourage sharing of knowledge and improvement of skills of those who enjoy working with glass in a creative way. We do this by offering courses and workshops in Bead Making, Fusing and Slumping, Leadlight & Copperfoiling, Mosaics, Sand Blasting and traditional Stained Glass. Being a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers, course fees are low as we take only a small percentage to help run the Guild.
A highlight of the Glass Guild’s calendar, the Annual Exhibition, was held on July 23 and 24, at the Mt Coot-tha Gardens Auditorium. There were handcrafted items for display and sale, made by our members along with demonstrations of mosaics, leadlight, copper-foil and bead making.read more
Courses and workshops at the Guild are very popular. Beginners courses and most workshops require no previous experience. They are great for "learners"! You can enrol online using secure bank transfer for payment. Further details are in the enrolment forms linked after each course or workshop.read more
